Balsamic Red Wine Reduction Sauce

1 cup red wine vinegar

1 medium lemon grated

Combine vinegar sugar cinnamon sticks lemon juice and cloves in a saucepan; bring mixture to a boil stirring to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat to low; simmer until sauce is reduced slightly and thick enough to coat the back of a spoon about 10 minutes.
