Links are provided below for the appropriate software (but may change based on software updates). Some ADB commands may differ on older devices or future updates.
*I forgot to mention a cmd prompt command: after entering /"cd../" twice, enter /"cd adb/" to navigate to the adb folder. Otherwise you will not be able to access the executable files with future commands.

(Using a Windows PC)
Step 1: As shown in the video, enter your Android device into "Developer Mode". Next, confirm that your device is recognized by Windows PC when plugged into a USB port. If your device is not recognized by Windows, install the USB driver for your device.
Step 2: Download the Android Platform Tools SDK (in the link above) and install App Inspector (from the Google PlayStore) on your Android device.
Step 3: Using a Windows PC, create a new folder named /"ADB/" at the root of the Windows hard drive (like the /"C:/" drive). For example, my new folder is /"C://ADB/". I chose this directory and folder name only to simplify this process.
Step 4: Extract the contents of the downloaded Android SDK Platform Tools /".zip/" file to the /"ADB/" folder created in step 3. If you are unable to open a /".zip/" file, download and install a Windows program such as /"7Zip/" or /"WinRar/".
Step 5: Access Command Prompt as administrator – In the Windows /"Start/" menu text box, type /"cmd/" on the keyboard. Some newer versions of Windows hide this text box, but it will appear once a key is typed on the keyboard with the /"Start/" menu open. /"cmd/" or /"cmd.exe/" will appear in the menu list. Right-click /"cmd/" or /"cmd.exe/" and open as administrator.
Step 6: Command Prompt – If you are familiar with the CMD prompt, simply navigate to the ADB folder created in step 3. For those who are unfamiliar, type /"cd../" and press the key Entrance. Enter /"cd../" again. This simple command /"cd../" enters the previous directory of the disk drive. With the CMD prompt now in the main Windows hard drive directory such as /"c:///
