The new year is here and so far it has been crisp air clear skies the thickest softest sweaters afternoon reading and big stews. We made pancakes on New Year's Eve and celebrated a fresh start optimism and our hopes for the months ahead – a simple evening of sparkling wine pancakes and a distant view of the fireworks downtown. A drive north for a quick weekend getaway was all about big coastal views antique store treasures full moons and ocean air. I look forward to more of this in 2015 – pancakes treasures ocean horizons and good health to all. The pancakes are easy with a little practice. Happy New Year to all. xo -h
