Sailing: the problem of sailboats

The problems with sailboats and why they have become much less popular than powerboats. If you are learning to sail, buying a sailboat or considering getting into sailing, there are several factors that make it very different from a powerboat or motorboat and these reasons are why sailing and sailboats have lost their popularity over the years in favor of motorboats. Sailing is not for everyone and although sailboats can often be found cheaper than a powerboat, sailboats are more labor intensive to operate and the learning curve is steep.
