Sweet and delicious it's hard to resist a salted caramel martini. This simple cocktail recipe offers the same salty-sweet flavor of the candy which is a brilliant contrast to your average dessert drink.
In most cocktails the garnish is optional but here it completes the experience. The rim is decorated with caramel syrup and just enough salt to make each sip interesting. Avoid salting the rim as you would a margarita a a little goes a long way. You can also drizzle some caramel into the glass and place a soft caramel candy on the rim for an even more indulgent experience.
Once that base is nice and frozen add the liquor. It's an easy mix of vanilla vodka caramel syrup and Irish cream. While it may seem like a lot of syrup some of it will be lost in the measuring process so the drink is perfectly in balance.
