You're probably used to the Recents screen, aka the overview page, which looks like this on Samsung Galaxy smartphones.

We get a horizontal list of our recently opened apps and games, and we can scroll through them with the most recent apps appearing on the right. These can be erased if you wish, but this is no longer really necessary.
If you're not a fan of this style, then you're in luck because Samsung has 4 other styles to choose from if you can use the Good Lock app.
This is an application that we download from the Samsung Galaxy App Store. So if you're not familiar with this, please see the video description below for a link to a walkthrough guide I've already done here on the channel.
Now let's go back to changing the style of our overview page on Samsung Galaxy devices.
As mentioned, we need to install the Good Lock application. So once you have it on your smartphone or tablet we can open it.
Next, you will need to install the Home Up module.
So find the module in the list here and then tap the down arrow next to it to begin the installation process.
Once installed, you will see the module look like this.
And from here we can jump into the Home Up module itself.
Now we want to look at the bottom of this list here and dive into the Task Changer menu.
And this is where we can change the style of our Recents screen on Samsung Galaxy devices.
By default this will be set to list layout type.
But we have four other options to choose from.
So if you prefer to see your Recents menu look like a grid, let's choose that option.
And the change is immediate, so you can check how it will look on your device as soon as you switch it.
We also have a Stack option for the Recents page
We have a vertical listing option to choose from here.
And we also have a compact and slim list that we can select.
Each of them has its own unique style and I can see why someone would want to change things up from the traditional type of list layout we get by default.
