I bought the Galaxy Watch 4 last year and although I liked the aesthetics, 1 thing quickly became very annoying: the battery life. At first the day was barely over and after the third software update he couldn't go to bed without a quick charge at midday.
When this one came out I was looking forward to a battery improvement but based on the details it seems like there hasn't been much of an improvement over the 40mm model that would warrant a new purchase. But my husband suggested me to upgrade to the 44mm model which has a better battery. And I'm glad we went! I can't believe that after 24 hours of use the battery was still over 70%!
I also decided to ditch my usual “pink everywhere” for a more neutral palette. I feel like the silver case pairs beautifully with the olive strap. Do you agree with me ?
Of course, I also had to grab a pink headband because I mean…pink is my neutral. I am happy to report that the new pink band is different from the previous version. As you can see in the video, the color of the old version is more muted and the material has a cooler tone, while the new version is slightly more vibrant and warmer. I love her so much!
Inside, the UI is basically the same, I was able to sync the majority of settings from my old Galaxy Watch 4, so the change was super quick and I was already familiar with everything.
Super approved so far!
