Samsung phones get a redesigned Google Messages app with powerful RCS features

Google has released a Samsung-specific Google Messages app, designed after One UI. This new Google messaging app appears to be part of the Samsung ecosystem and has the added benefit of RCS messaging.

Samsung and Google have teamed up to bring this revamped Google Messages app to Samsung phones, but at the moment it only works for the S21 series and select other Samsung One UI 3.1 phones globally.

Not yet available in the USA.
