The smell of freshly baked rolls on a weekend morning is the thing that wakes a house from its slumber. It wakes me up fast! But when I start my day with a buttery cinnamon roll or a sticky bun (or two or three) I am both full and strangely hungry about an hour later.
So I took the beloved concept of fresh rolls in the morning and made it savory. The result is delicious and I think you’ll love these too. They’re filling without filling you up with empty carbs. Even better you’re using frozen roll dough so they’re easy to make. A bright red roasted pepper sauce on the side balances out the richness of the rolls. Serve them with scrambled eggs for a fancy breakfast or deviled eggs for a charming lunch.
