SELinux is an important security technology. Although it can be used in all Linux systems, the SELinux security policy is in practice only usable in systems based on Red Hat (RedHat EL, CentOS, Fedora, AlmaLinux…).

Carsten Strotmann explains SELinux technology:

– SELinux secures a BIND 9 DNS server
– How the SELinux policies provided by Red Hat for BIND 9 work
– How users can adapt the SELinux policy for BIND 9
– How to troubleshoot BIND 9 installations with SELinux

This is the first in a series of 4 webinars on BIND 9 application security. The slides used are published at https://www.isc.org/presentations/
