I brought this version of banana bread with me on our ill-fated camping trip. I imagined a slice would be perfect for a hike preferably somewhere near a mountain lake. We have an endless supply of toasted sesame seeds on hand (jars bags containers) because Wayne bakes the sesame version of Tartine Country Loaf a few times a week. I had the idea to make banana bread for the hike and it occurred to me that a sesame banana bread might be something to try with a tangy lemon glaze that cuts. And as I imagined it this bread wouldn’t just have a sprinkle of sesame seeds it would be sesame madness.
