If you have an iPhone, you can use the Screen Time feature to set limits for using your phone. This feature is built into the iPhone and can be found in the /"Settings/" app. With Screen Time you can:

* Set daily time limits for individual apps, or
* You can set a global limit for the time you spend on your phone daily.
* Additionally, you can use the /"Downtime/" feature to set a specific time each day when certain apps will be unavailable.
* You can also use the "App Limits" feature to set daily limits for specific categories of apps, such as social networks or games. These features can help you manage your phone use and limit distractions, especially in the evening before bed.

I use downtime from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. to block apps that invite mindless scrolling, shopping, and browsing. I only allow access to audible apps like Audible, my public library app (Libby), podcasts, and meditation apps.

Have a good night’s sleep and sweet dreams!
