Sharon comes from a family of chefs but she found her calling in the colorful world of baking. She followed her passion and earned her degree in Baking & Pastry Arts from Monroe College. She truly appreciates the dedication and diligence that goes into this craft. Sharon serves as the NYC Moderator for Subtle Asian Baking a vibrant online community known for curating sweet and savory Asian baking recipes. This collaborative effort by the Subtle Asian Baking community is a valuable resource for home bakers looking for authentic and delicious recipes. Sharon’s culinary journey has taken her through many roles from pastry chef at a French-inspired bakery to head baker and cake decorator at an American bakery and finally to head decorator of custom cakes at a Hawaiian-inspired bakery. However it was during her time as the owner of her own cake business that she had a realization. While working closely with clients to lovingly plan their milestone events Sharon discovered that her true passion is collaborating with other food lovers to contribute to the community through recipes and tutorials.
