Hi friends
If audio is not working on your Windows 10/8.1/8/7 and the volume icon shows “No audio output device is installed”. please follow the steps shown in this video.
When the sound icon in your taskbar has a red cross (as shown above in the video), your computer will not make any sound.
This is usually caused by one of two problems: either Windows has disabled your audio device, or your PC does not have the latest correct device drivers installed, and therefore Windows cannot "talk" to the device.
If you see No audio output devices installed when you hover over the sound icon, your audio problem is likely caused by one of the issues shown in this video.
Automatically update your audio device drivers
Manually uninstall and reinstall the device driver
