![#shorts Sort data with UNIQUE and COUNTIF functions in Excel](https://ytimg.googleusercontent.com/vi/6Y2Pz8X1k1I/hq720_2.jpg)
This example covers three aspects of sorting and compiling raw data from project results. The first sorting objective is achieved by using the UNIQUE function where we have sorted the unique causes from the given data and listed them to simplify the repetition of causes in the source list. The second objective was achieved by using the COUNTIF function and quantifying the causes leading to problems or non-conformances. The third is a shortcut (Alt F1) to generate charts in Excel to visualize the compiled data and put it into percentages.
You can use this example in a table of different functions in which you are given a list of variables and intend to sort, compile and quantify the data in Excel in a short time. This feature can do wonders in applying precision and intelligence to your spreadsheet, whether in Excel or Metaverse!
