Show current date in Google Calendar icon on iPhone

If you prefer Google Calendar to Apple Calendar on iPhone, you can't see the current date without opening the calendar app.

Apple Calendar displays the current date. Here's how to make this work for Google Calendar.

On iPhone, long-press on the Home screen, then click the plus sign (top left) to add a widget.

The widget we want is Google Calendar.
