You know those actors who seem to spend their entire careers in bit parts but still manage to steal every scene they appear in? John Goodman. Alan Rickman. You know the kind. You always want more of them but you know you can’t have it. Wouldn’t it be great if you could flip the script on some of those movies? Maybe have Hans Gruber throw John McClane off a building have the Sheriff of Nottingham cut out Robin Hood’s heart with a spoon or figure out how to get Walter Sobchak a toe before 3pm?
I get that feeling every time I get a really great al pastor taco. Sure the crispy marinated pork is the star but an al pastor taco would be nothing without that sweet slice of roasted pineapple. I always want more. I don’t cast movies but I am the master of my own taco and if I want to move that pineapple from supporting role to star and that pork back to supporting role I have the power to do it.
