But (big but) things have changed recently! That's good news guys! I've finally found a way to enjoy it to the point where I have to stop myself from overeating (the real sign of enjoying food).

I’ve steamed tempeh before and mixed it into things but I was never completely happy with the texture or flavor. Then I asked my friend Laura for some tips and she told me her go-to method was sautéing.

It was definitely on my list to try but I’m so glad she suggested it. The trick as I’ve now learned is to steam your tempeh for 10-15 minutes (in a steamer basket) and then saute and season it. And the seasoning in this case is a 5-ingredient smoky red chipotle sauce.
