Solved: Something happened and your PIN is not available. Click to set up your Windows 11 PIN again

When I try to sign in to my Windows 11 system using my login PIN, I get the message Something went wrong and your PIN is not available.
With the error message, I was advised to reconfigure my PIN. If you are also facing the same problem on your system, here is how you can fix it.
1. Make sure your system is connected to the Internet. When you turn on your system, on the lock screen you will be able to see the network icon using which you can connect to the Internet. On the error screen, click the Set up my PIN link.
2. Enter your Microsoft account password.
3. If you have multi-factor authentication (MFA) enabled on your account, you need to verify your identity.
4. Once you have verified your identity, click on the Continue button.
5. After that, enter your new PIN and confirm it. Click OK.
6. Once you set up your new PIN, you will automatically be logged into your system.
