These are traditional hand-formed South Georgia cookies as they have been made by my family for generations. Unlike most recipes these cookies are formed entirely by hand not rolled and cut. Once you get the hang of it you can make them very quickly and you will find that the texture and appearance are much better than rolled cookies.
