1 teaspoon minced garlic
Place the rice and garlic in a saucepan. Stir in the water salsa and diced tomatoes. Bring to a boil.
Stir the rice mixture and reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 50 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the rice sit covered for another 5 to 10 minutes. Stir the rice before serving.
