Today I’m doing the unthinkable and cutting myself off from my usual habit of writing every word known to man into one post. I KNOW. I literally woke up this morning and wrote 8 paragraphs of my usual ramblings like I normally do. But then I read it and honestly it just felt weird and not right to be talking about mundane things in light of the seriousness of this holiday. So I deleted it. And instead we’re going short and sweet hopefully encouraging us to spend some time today honoring those who have served our country and making spicy shrimp with pesto noodles for those we love.
