I can still remember the first time I tried tofu. It was raw in a whole wheat wrap with some mustard and vegetables and I really couldn’t eat it. And when it comes to food I’m a die-hard. I’ll eat almost anything because I hate wasting food. But tofu didn’t appeal to me right away and it’s never really been my favorite even in my hardcore vegetarian days.
