I had the typical summer salad the other night – green beans cherry tomatoes toasted hazelnuts and a bit of frisée tossed with a creamy herb vinaigreta. Wayne and I were at the cava bar at Contigo and this salad kicked off our meal there. It was the kind of salad that made me happy and settled in for an evening of inspiring small plates good wine and relaxed conversation.
