Recipe for super simple Friday night meatballs

On Friday at 7:00 PM I light the candles.
The last two hours have been busy for me picking up toys and clutter vacuuming and dusting. Now the table is set with my great-grandmother’s beautiful china. My four-year-old daughter Lucia is busy folding paper napkins and placing them next to each of the 10 plates. Between the candlesticks is a plate of sliced bread a small bowl of olive oil and a small bowl of freshly grated Parmesan cheese. My husband Joe is bent over a pot of simmering sauce. A pot of salted water sits on the stove ready to boil when the guests arrive. I have put on a clean T-shirt and a cotton skirt. My feet are bare. After lighting the candles I stop cleaning dim the lights put away my phone and pour two glasses of wine.
