Recently a neighbor asked me how often I cook. I think he was curious if I cook every day. I told him that I cook most days and most meals most days. While this may conjure up visions of elaborate brunch buffets or me standing over simmering pots for hours it usually means I’m doing something simple like reheating a leftover pot of soup for lunch. Or pouring some granola from a jar into a bowl of yogurt before adding a dollop of something special. But that’s not how I made this amazing coleslaw.
