How to make crispy fried calamari *golden*
Do you like fried calamari? Imagine the lightest crispiest melt-in-your-mouth coating over the most tender squid and this would be it. The tempura version.
I love fried calamari but guess what? After this tempura I won't go back. This is just too good. Eat the whole lot.
And oddly enough it's light or at least much lighter than the thick cornmeal coating you normally find on its Italian cousin.
