When I was a mother of one I tried to make a lot of my own food. As a mother of two that thought seems laughable now. Back then I worked myself to the bone on a recipe for French onion soup for a client that I couldn’t possibly make taste the way I wanted.
After working on the recipe for a few weeks I finally decided to add a little onion soup mix to it. The deeply caramelized onions good broth and cheesy toasts with a hint of onion soup powder finally blossomed into something worth mentioning.
