Never buy food from the Dollar Store 😳

During the height of the pandemic my family went on many outdoor hikes and picnics. The outdoor tables were often dirty sticky muddy or covered in food. We tried using blankets to sit on or wipes to clean the tables and benches. The fabric didn’t work well and wipes couldn’t handle large outdoor messes. We ended up with a dirty blanket to wash when we got home.

Then I realized I had cheap plastic tablecloths in my pantry from home and school parties. I often overestimated how many I needed in case one tore or extra guests showed up. I didn’t want to waste them so I threw them in my car. They were lightweight and pre-packaged so they could easily be stored in the trunk.
