The affordable Vollrath Economy Mixing Bowl stood out as the best overall mixing bowl set with five bowls that were spacious easy to scrape clean and pour cleanly. We also liked the All-Clad bowls which had handles for easy maneuvering and pouring.
Go into any kitchen and one common thread is mixing bowls. Not only can you use them to mix pancake batter whip cream and whisk eggs but when combined with a pan they transform into a bain marie and they’re also great for storing leftovers while peeling and chopping vegetables. When I was a prep cook I even used them to serve a huge chopped salad for a staff meal.
