Top 10 Scary Places in New Orleans You Should NEVER Visit

"New Orleans has a long history of fighting disease natural disasters and basically a lot of people living in a small area" says Larry Montz a parapsychologist for the International Society for Paranormal Research. "These are some of the factors that can lead to different types of paranormal activity. On a bright note we like to believe that some people enjoy the Big Easy so much that they just don't want to go back." Here are four places where guests can connect with the other side within the city limits.

One of the city’s most famous restaurants The Court of Two Sisters is best known for the duo it’s named after: Emma Camors and Bertha Angaud. The pair opened a shop on the premises serving tea and pastries in the famous courtyard. The siblings who died two months apart in 1944 are often “seen” in the establishment.

Montz claims his team found the sisters during a 2003 investigation. “One of my psychics had a lengthy conversation with Emma who indicated that she’s on the premises much more often than Bertha” he said. Today the restaurant is famous for its wisteria-covered courtyard the largest in the French Quarter and its live jazz brunch buffet served every day of the week explained Sherry Constance director of sales.
