Frozen chicken nuggets aren’t just a desperate kid’s meal in our house. Our entire family enjoys a nuggets-and-fries night every now and then just as much as we enjoy a dressed-up nugget salad or nuggets and coleslaw in a soft tortilla. In fact I’d argue that everyone not just parents should have frozen chicken nuggets on hand for quick weeknight dinners. They’re wonderfully nostalgic and can be satisfying in both texture and flavor.
Recently our grocery store has been replacing the brands of chicken nuggets they sell with some new brands for me and phasing out other brands. This has made me question the brands I have been buying over the years. Were they really the best? What are the best frozen chicken nuggets on the market for busy home cooks today?
