Happy 4th of July!
We just got back from an amazing 4 day vacation to the beautiful Mississippi River Valley – specifically this little gem of a place called Lake Pepin. And now we’re back home and it’s the 4th of July! Literally right now I can smell someone grilling hot dogs nearby and my happy summer meter is flying. Remind me to plan my next vacation to be back during a long weekend because back to back fun is like super extra sparkly fun.
One of our favorite things about summering in Minnesota is the abundance of vacation rentals that make you feel like you own a cabin… without actually owning a cabin. Every summer my family vacation rentals in Northern Wisconsin (I'm thinking of making a paper chain for the countdown) and this summer we jumped on the bandwagon and rented a vacation home for a few days with Bjork's family.
