Microsoft is offering free Windows 11 upgrades for Windows 10 users. But that's if your system isn't one of the growing number of unsupported PCs. Windows 11 uses a compatibility checker tool that will stop the upgrade process if your system can't meet its long list of requirements. The biggest issues are the lack of a TPM 2.0 chip and an unsupported processor. Sigh. A widespread problem that seemed impossible to overcome.

Fortunately, the Internet is full of extremely smart people, and there are several ways to bypass this compatibility check and even system requirements. Unfortunately, many of these processes seem too complicated or require additional hardware. We found a method from the Tips 2 Fix YouTube channel that seemed too good to be true. So we tested it and found out that it is 100% legit. And above all, it was so simple!

We needed a bigger challenge after upgrading two laptops, including an original Microsoft Surface Pro from 2014 and a Dell XPS 15 from 2016. Both failed the Windows 11 system compatibility checker. We decided to install it on a Lenovo 200 laptop with an AMD processor. A Black Friday offer from 2 years ago!
