Whenever I get my hands on a new cookbook I make a cup of black coffee sit in a comfy chair with Post-Its and a pen and flip through it a few times marking everything that looks good. Because I look at so many cookbooks each year I’ve become more selective. Most cookbooks only get a handful of Post-Its.
Georgina Hayden’s cookbook Greekish on the other hand kept me busy. I bookmarked the very first recipe in the book (Burnt Butter Eggs and Goat’s Cheese—yum!) and didn’t stop until the dessert chapter where a photo of Hayden’s stunning Baklava Cheesecake literally made my stomach rumble with anticipation.
