I'll be honest: my cutlery drawer has seen better shinier days. I've had the same set of forks knives and spoons for many years and while they're still perfectly functional they've lost most of their shine.
Scrolling through TikTok I came across a recent viral video in which creator @carolina.mccauley places a crumpled aluminum ball in the dishwasher's cutlery basket along with some tarnished utensils. Shockingly the utensils came out cleaner and shinier than before.
