NOTE: You must ensure that BITLOCKER is DISABLED before performing this procedure. If it is ENABLED before cloning, you might have a problem with extending partitions later. So make sure BITLOCKER is DISABLED. You can turn it off by going to Privacy & Security – Device Encryption – Set it to OFF.
Remember, DO NOT erase or do anything with your original disk until you have completely completed this procedure. This way, if you run into a problem, you can reinsert your old disk and try again.
