It seems to me that dry turkey was a given only 15 years ago. The annual Thanksgiving ritual at my family’s dinner table did not involve poorly behaved children yelling “DAAAAAAAd Mommy ruined the turkey again” — turkey was not something that could be ruined. It was dry tough and stringy and that was a fact of life.
