I love banana bread. I love it so much that I once brought my mom’s freshly baked chocolate chip banana bread back on the plane to school after a weekend away. My precious cargo was still warm as it passed through security on a paper plate and I held it gingerly in my lap for the entire three-hour flight. I have no regrets other than not bringing more back. After I decided to share it with friends the bread was gone within ten minutes.
