This iPhone feature is very useful if you want to quickly scan a document and send it as a PDF

You can use the Notes app to scan documents and add signatures on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Open Notes and select a note or create a new one.
Press the Camera button Press the Camera button to start scanning a document in Notes, then tap the Scan Documents icon Scan document.
Place your document in view of the camera.
If your device is in Auto mode, your document will be automatically scanned. If you need to manually capture a scan, press the shutter button, press the shutter button to scan, or one of the volume buttons. Then drag the corners to adjust the scan to fit the page, then tap Keep Scan.
Tap Save or add additional scans to the document. Now if you share scanned documents, they will be converted to PDF format.
