Every year we get a little better at growing tomatoes.
The first few seasons I tried gardening the yields were pretty pathetic. Over the years I have learned that you need lots of sun lots of water but not too much water soil prepared with compost and a good layer of mulch.
I have even crumbled eggshells and placed them at the base of the plants which adds calcium to the soil which can prevent blossom end rot.
