In January Trader Joe's celebrated this year's Customer Choice Award winners. According to customers these are the most popular items. The runner-up for the overall top spot was soup dumplings. If you're a superfan of this frozen meal and stock up regularly take a look in your freezer.
This weekend Trader Joe's announced a recall of its Steamed Chicken Soup Dumplings because they may contain bits of plastic. The issue was discovered after consumers complained about finding hard plastic in the dumplings. According to CJ Foods Manufacturing Beaumont Corporation the manufacturer of the soup dumplings the hard plastic comes from a permanent marker.
