Eggnog Recipe | How to Make Eggnog
A traditional holiday drink that has been around for hundreds of years is eggnog. It is made with eggs (hence the name) milk cream and spices such as nutmeg and vanilla. It is fortified with rum whiskey and/or brandy.
We grew up with advocaat the kind you can buy in a pack and every Christmas holiday we kids drank as much of it as we could.
I didn't even know advocaat was a drink that had 'avocado' in it until I was well into adulthood!
