Serious Eats Fred Hardy
How many times have you seen someone post a photo or recipe of a delicious-looking dish online only to see comments like "Hey! A mini burger is not a slider!" or "That stuff you made with that tiny bit of added sugar is not pizza sauce!" or even "If you're not from [city X] then you can't possibly understand let alone make food from [city X]!"?
I mean I get it. Food is passionate. Food has history. Food is culture. It should be taken seriously and respectfully. But at the same time it should be delicious and fun. If someone wants to put lobster in a little bun serve it to their friends and family and call it a slider who am I to tell them otherwise?
