Shirakiku Fish Cakes Sold in Maryland DC Recalled Due to Undeclared Allergens

Simple recipes / Unilever

According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Unilever recalled approximately 137000 boxes of Popsicle Jolly Rancher Frozen Confection Pop products on August 21 because they may contain milk. It is not an ingredient listed on the product label and can be dangerous to people who are allergic or sensitive to milk. There have been two reported cases of consumers having an allergic reaction to the recalled product.

The recall affects Popsicle Jolly Rancher products that are sold individually (and marked for individual sale) and does not apply to the 18-count Popsicle Jolly Rancher products sold in grocery stores. According to the company "these products are typically sold through channels such as ice cream trucks concession stands and grab-and-go freezers in the United States."
