Version 4.8 is expected to arrive on July 17 and we have a lot of information about the 4.8 beta update.
So welcome back everyone!
In this video, we'll discuss everything we know about 4.8, which includes leaks about Alice and Durin as playable characters, a new limited-time zone, new skins, the 4.8 banner, and wish leaks chronicle, as well as a new free skin event.
Let's move on to the video…
First, let's talk about Limited Time Zone 4.8. Beta 4.8 is out and we got some accurate leaks of the new limited-time zone, called Simulanka Map. The map is whimsical and based on a fairytale forest island. It looks good and is something different from Teyvat. I won't discuss the map in detail as you can find gameplay of the map on Twitter.
Now let's move on to the character skins. In version 4.8, reliable sources tell us that Kirara and Nilou will have their skin, and now it is confirmed that both will have their skin. However, there is no leak of a third skin, which is what we have come to expect from Wanderer. The Kirara skin will be free in the 4.8 main event.
Now let's move on to the events of version 4.8. According to GenshinIntel, the Summertide Scales and Tales event is coming and will feature the free Kirara skin.
As for other events, the Bing-Bang Finchball, Light Novel Photography, and Energy Amplifier events will return in version 4.8. I expect some changes to these events, but as of now we don't have any detailed leaks.
That's all about 4.8 events. Let's move on to the banners and wishes of the 4.8 Chronicle.
As of now, there is no confirmation of Banner 4.8 from reliable sources. Emilie is confirmed in 4.8 and Nilou receives her new skin, which makes her very likely to appear in the 4.8 banner since she hasn't had her replay yet. We know that Hoyoverse will re-release a Fontaine character before the Natlan region, so Navia has a good chance of being in Banner 4.8. Shenhe and Kokomi also have chances to appear in the 4.8 banner.
Now for the column wish banner. Reliable sources expect a Liyue Region Chronicle wish in version 4.8, which will feature Hu Tao, Yelan, Ganyu, and standard characters like Qiqi and Keqing. The banner could also feature Zhongli, as the rules do not mention that archons will not be included in the banner. But this is just my hypothesis; Zhongli has a good chance of appearing in the 5.0 banner.
It's all about the 4.8 banner.
Now let's talk about the quests in 4.8. We will have a story quest for Emilie. This may be a spoiler, but the story will feature Emilie, Traveler, Paimon, Collei, Tighnari, and a few other NPCs.
The main quest in version 4.8 will feature Traveler, Paimon, Kirara, Navia, Mona, Kaeya, Collei, Jean, Wanderer and other NPCs. I don't want to talk about the quest in detail because that would spoil the fun of the game.
Finally, let's talk about a little leak we got about Alice and Durin. According to GenshinIntel, Alice and Durin should be playable in the future, that is, in the Natlan region. I expected Alice to be playable, and now she will be.
