I nearly spit out my cappuccino when my dad told me the other day that he was reading The China Study . I think he even said the V-word. Vegan. I don’t know why I was so surprised that the number of people exploring a (more) plant-based less meat-centric diet/lifestyle is increasing and many people are looking for inspiration. Meet Isa Chandra Moskowitz and Terry Hope Romero (of the public television show Post Punk Kitchen) with their recently released and critically acclaimed vegan cookbook – Veganomicon . I’m featuring their recipe for vegan Caesar salad today for a couple reasons. First it’s a fantastic recipe from a fantastic volume of recipes – 250 of them.
