Easy 4-Ingredient Vegan Brownies | Minimalist Baking Recipes

The base of this 4-ingredient one-bowl recipe that takes 30 minutes to make is dates which provide the fudgy texture naturally sweeten the brownies and bind the batter.

Next comes the nut butter. It’s less important what kind of nut butter you use and more important how fresh and creamy it is. If you use a peanut butter made with just peanuts and salt you’ll get a luxuriously creamy texture and it will literally flow out of the jar. That’s what you’re going for! If you don’t eat peanuts I think almond cashew butter or even sesame (tahini) butter would work well here.

After nut butter comes raw cacao powder for a rich chocolate flavor.
