I think you become an adult when you start making your own pasta sauce. Oh and pay your own bills. That's important too.

Vegan Lemon Asparagus Pasta with Chickpeas
I don’t remember exactly how this happened to me but it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in the kitchen. I had been living on jarred pasta sauce (and vending machine food) during my college years so I was excited and pleasantly surprised to find out how easy it is to make it from scratch.
This creamy white sauce is no exception.
This pasta is inspired by one of my favorite roasted vegetables: asparagus!
