I look back on it now and laugh: how naive I was! To think we could publish a taste test of unsalted butter and just walk away with it assuming you would like it. I remember the day I hit publish and the relief I felt at crossing another item off my to-do list. But that was quickly followed by irritated Instagram comments and then the annoyed emails. You… you prefer salted butter. Because we almost always prefer to cook with unsalted butter we forgot that eating it is much more enjoyable when salt is involved.
And here's the good news: I've now gotten everyone to eat a disgusting amount of salted butter.
